Course Information

To meet the needs for enriching primary and secondary school teachers’ professional development related to e-learning in Hong Kong, this online course is developed by the Education University of Hong Kong to provide pre-service teachers, in-service teachers and whoever interested in mathematics learning and teaching with sound knowledge and hands-on practices of e-learning pedagogies especially in mathematics.

This course introduces a total of 12 topics supported by e-pedagogies, with six topics on primary school mathematics, two topics about linking up primary and secondary school mathematics, and four topics about secondary school mathematics. All course videos are delivered in Cantonese with Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese transcriptions. Content of the videos ranges from introduction and discussion of pedagogical design, use of e-learning tools, to real classroom teaching and relevant feedback. In response to the pedagogical design, corresponding worksheets are designed for trial teaching and open to learners for any modifications.
